- How are equations handled?
- As real slide objects. Type LaTeX on the canvas, refine it in a split editor, and it stays an equation you can select and change. It is sharp when you present or export, and never a screenshot.
- Do I have to design the motion myself?
- No. Transitions are applied across the deck for you. Change them slide by slide if you want a different pace.
- Can I edit images without leaving the deck?
- Yes. The image editor handles crop, framing, filters, adjustments, a live histogram, before/after compare and a full edit history. The original is always kept.
- Can I edit video inside slAIdes?
- Yes. Video sits on the slide, and the built-in editor handles trimming, sequencing, freeze points, frame export and playback.
- Can I use AI with slAIdes?
- Yes. AI-assisted generation is in beta. Draft with slAIdes AI or connect a compatible MCP client to create and revise decks. Model usage uses slAIdes wallet credit or follows your chosen provider's billing. The workspace plan is $1.99 / €1.99 per month.
- Where do the slides come from in the first place?
- Start blank, import a presentation, or have an MCP-connected AI client build one. Charts, tables, equations and media stay editable either way.
- Can I present, share and export?
- Yes. There is a present mode with presenter view, read-only share links, and export to PDF and PNG.

- The workspace plan is $1.99 / €1.99 per month, including 50 MB of storage and MCP. AI model usage and optional extra storage may have separate charges.
