What it does

  • When the draft includes an equation, review and correct its editable LaTeX object against the source PDF.
  • Native charts and tables remain editable; compare their values with the source before presenting.
  • MCP provides structured tools for supported deck and slide edits by a connected client.
  • Figures are cropped and adjusted in the image editor; media generation is handled by the AI client you choose.
  • Video embeds and is edited on the slide, and transitions are applied across the deck automatically.
  • Uploaded files stay in your own storage, listed in a file manager that shows which presentations use each one.

Questions

Do equations in my PDF stay editable?
The AI draft can represent equations as editable LaTeX slide objects. Check the notation against your PDF: conversion of every equation is not guaranteed.
Will a scanned PDF work as well as one with selectable text?
A PDF with selectable text gives the drafting workflow text to inspect. Scanned pages may yield incomplete text, so check the draft carefully against the original or provide a text-based source.
What file types can I upload?
PDFs and common document formats. The text and structure of the file are used to build the slides.
How many slides will I get?
The client you choose determines how it drafts the deck; you can add, remove, and reorder slides in slAIdes.
Will the slides quote the document accurately?
Accuracy depends on the external AI client and the material you supply. Review claims against the source before presenting.
Can I fix the visuals afterwards?
Yes. Edit charts and media directly in slAIdes, or ask your connected AI client for supported MCP changes.
What happens to my uploaded file afterwards?
It stays in your storage until you remove it. The file manager shows which decks depend on a file before you delete it.
